Loisto Setlementti Ry is an NGO established in 1974, its main work is social youth work with a gender and culturally sensitive approach. It has different units around the greater Helsinki area such as: Gender sensitive units; Houses for boys and girls, Unit for honour related issues and conflicts, supporting housing for youth and  young parents. Activities are mostly open community evenings, group activities, sexual education,workshops and trainings for professionals. They work mostly with children and youth in need of special support by increasing their wellbeing, preventing marginalization and mental health problems.
