THE ENGLISH VERSION IS NOT COMPLETE

Yes, it is, but it’s just a demo and won’t be used at the national level.
Furthermore, English is the project language, so it was mandatory to have a common version
to avoid misunderstanding within the partners.

YANA IS A WEB APP AND NOT AN APP, WHY?

Because for the project to develop an application, we should involve some lawyers to build a common legal framework on the privacy settings. Since Finland, Italy and Jordan have different legal frameworks on privacy setting, and the related costs would be very high, the partnership
opted for the web app to not incur in over budgeting and/or penal mistakes. However, the partners intend to transform Yana into an APP to be used at the national level in the next future.

THERE SHOULD BE A LINK IN EACH CASE STUDY TO THE CONTACT/GET HELP PAGE OR THERE SHOULD BE BETTER INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE YOUTHS TO GET HELP

The web app is structured to give first help to young people. In fact, in the national web app page (Finland, Italy and Jordan) they will find the national SOS numbers (1522 or 112 for Italy; 112 for Finland; 911 for Jordan) and the associated national partners’ contact involved in the project to support victims or potential victims.

WHERE DOES THE CONTACT FORM LEAD, WHERE IS IT SENT? FOR SAFETY AND TRUST, IT WOULD BE IMPORTANT TO EXPLAIN THIS, AS THE YOUNG PEOPLE SEEKING FOR HELP MIGHT BE QUITE WORRIED TO GIVE THEIR INFORMATION, EVEN IF LIMITED, ANYWHERE.

FOR PROFESSIONALS: The contact form exists just in the “PROFESSIONAL AREA” for the Manual and Training Resources. The email address is collected in a unique project email.
One of the objectives of “PRO YOUTH” project is to develop capacity building at local/regional/national level. All professionals are welcome to be part of it as trainers, youth workers, facilitators, associations, police officers. Then in this case, you will get support from partners.
FOR YOUTH: There is no contact form. Users can browse in complete anonymity and contact the SOS national numbers (1522 or 112 for Italy; 112 for Finland; 911 for Jordan) and/or the project associated national partners’ contact to support victims or potential victims at any time.

PROFESSIONAL SUGGESTED THAT THE HELP INFORMATION AND CONTACTS SHOULD BE PART OF THE VIDEO.

This cannot be possible since the videos are directly uploaded to the web app national page. BUT, the user will clearly identify the NATIONAL SOS PHONE CONTACT (1522 or 112 for Italy; 112 for Finland; 911 for Jordan) in each web app section. Moreover, in each national web app page, users will find the project associated national partners’ contact to support victims or potential victims.

WHAT DATA DOES THIS WEB APP COLLECT FROM THE USER’S PHONE?

No data will be collected. Since Finland, Italy and Jordan have different legal frameworks on privacy setting, and the related costs would be very high, the partnership opted for the web app to not incur in over budgeting or legal issues.

WHEN A PERSON CONTACTS YOU THROUGH THE WEB APP, HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET AN ANSWER?

You are not contacting the web app services as it is not a helpline. You are contacting the NATIONAL SOS PHONE NUMBER (1522 or 112 for Italy; 112 for Finland; 911 for Jordan) or the project associated national partners’ contact to support victims or potential victims. The time it takes for the users to get a reply depends on these services and not on the web app.
